Returns & Refunds Policy – Newbury Mobility Ltd

At Newbury Mobility Ltd, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our returns policy complies with UK consumer law and Google Merchant Center requirements.

Bespoke Products (e.g. Stairlifts):

All Curved stairlifts are custom-made to fit your staircase and are classed as bespoke products. As such, they are non-returnable and non-refundable once installed, unless they are faulty or not as described.

Right to Cancel (Before Installation):

If you change your mind before installation or manufacturing has begun, you may cancel your order for a full refund. Please contact us as soon as possible to avoid charges.

Faulty Products:

If your stairlift develops a fault, please contact us immediately. We will arrange an inspection and repair, replacement, or refund in line with your warranty and UK consumer rights.

Reconditioned & New Products:

Stairlifts come with a 6,12 or 24 month warranty as stated on the original Quote. Returns are only accepted for faults covered under this warranty.

Stairlift Delivery & Installation Policy for Newbury Mobility Ltd

Delivery Area:

We serve mainland UK within a 50-mile radius of Newbury Berkshire, covering All of Berkshire, and parts of Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Hampshire

Delivery Time:

  • Standard delivery and installation occur within 2–10 business days after order confirmation (dependent on location, stock, and engineer availability).
  • Fast-track (emergency) service is available in the Newbury area for next-day installation, subject to engineer availability

Delivery Charges:

  • From £95, varying by stairlift model and your location (final cost provided during quotation).
  • Includes transport, delivery, installation, full demonstration, and all necessary adjustments.

Booking Process:

  • All stairlifts undergo a free site survey to determine exact cost and timings.
  • After approval, we’ll contact you to schedule a convenient delivery and installation date.

Method & Team:

  • Delivered and installed by our qualified Newbury Mobility Ltd engineers or trusted specialist partners, ensuring full compliance with safety standards.

Warranty & Service Included:

  • Stairlifts include a 24-month warranty (new) or upto 12-months (reconditioned) from installation date
  • First years’ service is sometimes included on our stairlifts as a promotional offer this will be stated on our Quotation. .
